Start Here!

1. Gather tools & equipment

2. Stage job materials close to site

3. Re-measure site to confirm design spec & set marks

4. Prep site, drainage, irrigation

4.1 Excavate to design spec (min 3-4 inch)
4.2 Add/change drainage – test
4.3 Add/change Irrigation, lights – test
4.4 Haul/dump debris & clean site

5. Install base

5.1 Lay down underlayment fabrics
5.2 Move base in & feather base to final height needed
5.3 Compact; clean edges; roll or tack fabric edges down; finish any trim

6. Prep & install artificial grass

6.1 Pre-cut rolls – remove selvage, as needed & move in first piece, roll out and set pitch (angle)
6.2 Bring in second piece and then remaining pieces, one at a time, per design – position, as needed, keep grain in one direction
6.3 Seam one section at a time
6.4 Cut or roll all edges and tack down the outside perimeter edge
6.5 Rake off & dispose of loose fibers
6.6 Add larger trim rocks

7. INFILL surface, edges & clean up

7.1 Evenly fill & rake in materials
7.2 Complete any back-fill areas
7.3 Give a gentle rinse & clean up site

● pick-up/delivery of base
● sod cutter (optional)
● vibrating plate compactor or water-filled roller
● pick-up or delivery of roll(s) of under layment(weed) fabrics & cuts of artificial grass
● pick-up or delivery of the bags of infill

● perimeter nails (one every 4-6 inches)

● rolled edge staples
● rock, stone, bark
● drainage & irrigation system supplies
